Are You Ready to Die?

This year, we've (at least I have) been reminded so much how fleeting life is, maybe more than ever before. We only have so many tomorrows.

If tomorrow never comes, would you say you lived your life well? Did you do all you were placed here on earth to do? Are you ready to die?

Life is too short to not live it to the fullest, train your mind to know that your days are limited (whether it's 30 or 150). we live a mortal life. A life that can and will come to an end one day. So, what are you doing to make your time here on earth memorable, not just for you but for people you'll leave behind. Are you impacting people? Are you loving? Are you caring? Is anyone happier your paths crossed? When it's all said and done, can you say that you accomplished everything you were put here on earth to do?

Even as we pray and hope for a long life, let us be reminded that we are mere mortals. Tomorrow might be your last day. Grab hold of your life and act on it now! Live life as if you were to die tomorrow. Live life to the fullest. Do not hold yourself back from who you are. Do not live with regrets. Never forget that we are living a dying dream, and that tomorrow, everything could be over.

Think about it, if you knew you had only 3 more years to live, what would you do? Take a few seconds to think about it. Your answers, the thoughts you have right now, they are things you want to do in your life but you aren’t doing them. What is stopping you you? For most of us, what stops us from living fully is fear. for others, its tomorrow (Most of us live with the thought that our dreams can wait for tomorrow). Whatever the case, you've got to get up and live your best life.

It's not a question of if, but when. When you die, will you die empty or will you only have scratched the surface of what you were placed her on earth to do?

  1. Amazing article. Title might be a bit scary for some, but it's apt. The whole write-up is like a food for thought.

  3. We die everyday but we get the chance to live again when we start a brand new day. That's why people are always encouraged to start things anew and not be afraid of starting something new after a bad ending because that part has ended/died and ressurection symbolized by a new day and new beginning begins.
