The 31 Woman!

Being a Proverbs 31 woman is not about being perfect. It's about living life with purpose, diligence, forgiveness, virtue, strength, honor, grace and repentance. 

Some qualities of the Proverbs 31 Woman are :

Beauty: Many women today have lost sight of what true beauty is. A 31 Woman is a woman of worth and beauty. She has the inner beauty that only comes from Christ and pays attention to her physical appearance. She makes sure her appearance reflects her respected position as an influence in her community.

Service: She loves helping and reaching out to others. She has a drive to help those in need, even outside of her own house, that could only be driven by a sincere compassion and sense of mercy for others.

Industrious: The 31 woman is focused and works consistently. She is performing work that will sustain her household.

Supportive: Behind every good successful man, is an equally good woman. Right? A woman can be a tremendous influence for good or ill on her husband. Where would this man be without his Godly, industrious, faithful, loving, hard-working wife? A woman who partners with her husband, who is reliable and looks out for his interests, gives a man a security that is greatly lacking in the world.

Wisdom: The 31 woman knows when to speak and what to say. She is careful with her word choices. Her wisdom is acquired through communion with the Holy Spirit who helps her give wise counsel.

Faith: A Virtuous Woman serves God with all of her heart, mind, and soul. The characteristics that mark this excellent woman rise from within because she has the proper fear of the Lord and seeks Him with all her heart.

Entrepreneurial: She understands business and knows how to increase her profits through diversification. She uses her talents to make money for her family.

Valuable: This woman is not like everyone else: her moral strength and character and inner beauty make her like a rare gem that is very valuable. She is hard to find for she is of high quality and there are few that achieve such character distinctions and ability.

A good Mother/Wife: A 31 woman teaches her children properly. They are taught well so they know how to think wisely and properly. The virtuous woman receives the honor of her children’s praise. She respects her husband. She does him good all the days of her life. Her husband can trust her wholly.

When we look at all the wonderful qualities of a Proverbs 31 Woman it can be overwhelming, but if we look at each one as a pearl to thread into our life, we can start to make the strand out of them that God intends for us. Keeping our life in tune with Christ daily is a big part of making our qualities as women something that reflects Christ, so we've got to work at keeping that in check.

Charm and grace are deceptive, and beauty is vain [because it is not lasting], but a woman who reverently and worship-fully fears the Lord, she shall be praised!
