Times and Seasons
Everyone in the world has their own path, and their own story to tell; and everything happens according to the timing of our lives. The timing of your friends, colleagues, classmates, siblings or whoever you know is different from your timing.
Oftentimes, we're guilty of comparing the timing of our lives with of others and what this does is; it makes us unhappy and ungrateful and completely unable to live our lives in full.
Growing up, I had in my mind a chronological order of how I wanted things to happen in my life (I'm sure God was just laughing). It brings proverbs 19:21 to mind "We humans keep brainstorming options and plans, but God ’s purpose prevails. " MSG. I digress. Anyways, I had like an order in which things would go in my head. School - Job - Conglomerate - Husband - Children all before I turned 30 😀😀. What I didn't consider was timing. Time itself made me understand that. Time made me understand timing. Looking back now, I thank God for all the doors that closed because, I probably would have lost most of those things if I got them when I planned.
It is very important that you trust the timing of your life. Life can sometimes be very complicated and unpredictable but once you understand times and seasons, nothing fazes you anymore. Absolutely nothing!!!! When you don’t expect things to happen, they magically happen. God who created you, knows best. He’ll give you the things that you need and want when the time is absolutely right.
Until that time comes, live your best life. The breakthrough will come, the husband will come, the kids are on their way, the money is in transit. Enjoy where you are right now, trust the process, don’t get frustrated, and don’t rush it so that you can go to the next chapter. Things may not happen in our lives the way it happened in others lives, because we have different stories.
