Something new. Yoga!!!

Fam!!! It has begun!


This year, I've resolved to try something new every week. Let's call it "something new." I decided to start with yoga. The closest I've come to yoga is in the movies and it looked pretty easy (oh, how wrong I was).

Don't let the movies fool you. Don't get carried away by the effortless images you see online. Yoga is proper workout. I legit thought I'd pass out in the first week but alas! I'm still posing.

A couple of things I learnt

1. Yoga isn't as easy as it looks. I couldn't hold some poses and kept falling over.

2. It's more calming and soothing than I expected. All the inhaling and exhaling really does calm the nerves.

3. It gets better with time and hour muscles begin to relax and "conform"


 I enjoy my sessions these days that I'm going to keep going.
