Something new!!! Salsa!

Welcome to the month of love. Hope you're having an exciting February so far. So.... last week, I tried salsa as suggested by a certain mischievous somebody.


I took a private online class because I wasn't about to disgrace my enter lineage in front of others ( you see, I can't dance to save my life). I've been meaning to learn how to dance for ages now, and so when salsa was suggested, I decided to go with it. After all, how bad can it be? VERY BAD!!!!!! lol


The dance in itself is a beautiful thing. The body movements, easy steps and all but my body was fighting against it. I think I sprained my shoulder bone, maybe even dislocated it ( my family, friends, google and tutors don't think salsa caused it but what do they know).


I discovered also, that the dance is amazingly great workout and also quite easy to learn. I was initially worried that my leg might be a hindrance but I was completely okay for the one hour the lesson lasted.


My experience learning salsa has been nothing but positive (except for my shoulder). It’s a great way to stay active, keep your body flexible and make new friends along the way (if you sign up for group classes). I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
