The Grass Is Greener Where You Water It
“Don’t compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.” Author unknown
“The grass is always greener” syndrome makes us think someone else is having a better time elsewhere, living a better life. We make ourselves miserable by constantly thinking about the unknown in an endless quest to find happiness.

Focusing on things we don’t have is a recipe for disaster. It only leads to a miserable existence and causes us to forget what’s most important—and that’s what’s happening right now.
Why compare yourself with others? What good does that do to you? Who cares if their lives look better or not? You should focus all of your energy and attention on yourself; you should focus all of your energy and attention to improve yourself and your life, to constantly look for new ways to live a happier, healthier, and more balanced life, not to compare yourself with others… that won’t help.
It doesn't really matter whether the grass is greener on the other side or not, that will never make you happy. If you want to know what will make you happy, try working on improving yourself as an individual, try working on improving your own life, and in the end you will discover how, it doesn’t really matter what others are doing, being or having, all that matters is what you are doing, being and having. Cultivate your grass, take care of your lawn, water it, fertilize it, do whatever it is to make it a nice yard. The Grass Is Greener Where You Water It.
